As you can tell from the picture below this pool was located on a raised (done on purpose when pool was built) area of the home owners backyard.   The pool also had a surrounding concrete patio, and concrete steps leading up to the raised pool area.  The challenge for this removal was to make sure to grade the backyard so that it could be used and not have a giant raised area in the middle where the pool used to be located.

The tricky part to this project was Carroll Bros. Contracting had to hire an engineer, to certify the backfill of the swimming pool was done properly, as Charles County requires this.   So Carroll Bros, excavated out the pool, concrete, surrounding patio and steps; then worked with the engineer to backfill and grade the backyard so it could be enjoyable for the home owner and their family.   We finished off the project with topsoil, seed and straw and as you can tell from the After picture below this home owner now has a backyard they can enjoy with out the giant raised area where the pool was once located.
