Severna Park Pool Removal
The owners of this Severna Park home contacted us for an estimate regarding the removal of their inground vinyl liner pool, which was over 20 years old, and in disrepair. The pool was in need of a new liner, and the plumbing required mending.
The homeowners researched, and the cost of the repairs was more than removing the pool. Their children had grown up and moved away, and no one was using the pool on a regular basis. The homeowners kept up with basic maintenance through the years, but it was starting to become burdensome. The landscaping in the yard had matured through the years, and leaves were becoming a nuisance.
After weighing all of their options, the homeowners decided to remove the inground pool. We needed to uproot two trees and a crumbling retaining wall to gain access to the pool. The galvanized metal pool walls were intermixed with concrete and all was all broken up. In addition to the concrete pool deck, all these materials were then used as fill for the hole. Additional dirt was used to regrade the yard for proper drainage, plus grass seed and straw were laid to prevent erosion.
The completion of this Severna Park pool removal took three days. The homeowners were extremely pleased with the final results and are looking forward to repurposing their yard.
