Bethesda Pool Removal
Carroll Bros. was contacted about this Bethesda pool removal and upon inspection, we cited many structural problems with, not only the pool, but the backyard and the home’s foundation as well. The pool took up almost the entire footage of the yard and was therefore situated too close to the house, thus causing excessive pressure to the foundation.
Also, the pool was in major disrepair with many cracks in the concrete, so much so, that years ago, the owners has to install a vinyl liner in the pool.
For the excavation, we removed the liner, then drilled out the concrete. We also removed all the brick frame around the pool and the patio. Our crew used what we could as fill for the pool, but removed the bulk of the debris and hauled it away from the property.
After all the rubbish was removed, we also excavated the retaining wall. Our team then graded the backyard and spread grass seed and straw to encourage growth and prevent erosion. The result is a yard that now has more usable space. The homeowners also plan on putting up a new retaining wall in the spring.
